Quick, early morning, update.

Hello!

Ok, its been a few days since my last post because the internet here is in and out and usually more out... For the last 2 days I have been working on a house that is on the property I have been staying at trying to help get it ready to be used as a bunk house for volunteers.  Its in pretty decent shape and I basically just spent the whole time doing a lot of cleaning (vacuuming the floors and wiping down the walls).  Still no news on when the insurance will come through, we are confident the Father has his reasons for holding it back, but it can still be frustrating at times cause we would def. love to get to work on preparing this space.

Last night I went to Bowling Green, KY for a night out and to see what it was like since I had never been there.  Well, while I was in the movies it started snowing... and boy did it snow... by time I had eaten a quick meal at Chedders (about an hour) the roads were all 3"+ deep in snow and frozen over in places due to the freezing temperatures.  The drive that originally took me a little under and hour took me over 2 hours to return due to times of zero visibility, all roads being shutdown to one lane each way and spots of 4x4 only travel making it a slow go (but a fun and intense one at that).

When we woke up this morning we awoke to 6"+ of accumulation at our location.  When you walk outside it looked like a winter wonderland... it was actually quite awesome and I got to spend about an hour this morning walking around and taking a lot of pictures.  Now the problem with all this beautiful snow is that we got more this evening, it is currently 18 degrees (roads have been plowed) and I am supposed to leave to return home to Texas in in the morning... yeaaa..... I still plan on leaving but I am going to have to wait until mid day tomorrow to begin my trip so the roads will have a few hours to thaw out.  I appreciate your prayers for safe travel and good weather as I have a nearly 900 mile trip ahead of me.  Here are some pictures I took this morning for you to enjoy because that is all for this evening/early morning.

Prayer Requests:
- For a heart that is sensitive to where the Father is leading me to go and eyes opened to see the path he has for me to follow.
- Safe travel for me (and all the other travelers out on the roads) Wednesday and Thursday.
